Engaging Leaders
Our Engaging Leaders course shares strategies on how to promote and support mentally healthy workplaces.
Hong Kong has one of the longest working hours in the world, and was ranked the 6th most stressed population out of 23 economies in a 2021 survey. In another study that surveyed 1,210 adults across all regions of Hong Kong, 73.4% stated that their workplace did not provide any programmes of support for staff mental health needs, while 60% did not know where to seek help regarding mental health issues outside of hospitals.
Given that the greatest asset of any organisation is its staff, it is essential to promote mentally healthy workplaces during these challenging times. It is important to view staff wellbeing as an ongoing process that reflects the individual characteristics of your organisation/school. A mentally healthy environment can be established by supporting the mental health of your colleagues/employees.
