The Decider: 32 Skills is an all-encompassing course that covers 32 CBT and DBT-based skills to help participants:

  • Recognise, understand, and monitor thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
  • Manage emotional distress and regulate emotions effectively.
  • Improve mindfulness, communication, and decision-making.
  • Foster resilience and develop healthier, less impulsive habits.

How We Do It:

Inclusive Learning:

Sessions are tailored to accommodate different learning styles, cultural contexts, and lived experiences.

Interactive Delivery:

Skills are demonstrated in creative and engaging ways using visuals, props, and handouts.

Practice-Oriented:

Participants are encouraged to practice the skills outside of sessions, creating lasting behavioural changes.

Course Details

Audience:

Age-appropriate sessions for tweens, teens, and adults, delivered in small groups to ensure personalised attention.

Duration:

12 hours total (offered as 12 x 1-hour sessions or 6 x 2-hour sessions).

Delivery:

Flexible options for face-to-face or online learning.

Additional Support:

An optional individual session is available after the course to personalise and consolidate learning.
